Friday & Balsam Cap

Trail notes recorded post hike, added here in their fairly raw state.

Did not enjoy this hike at all. Trail was quite steep at times, combined with the 90% humidity made for a rough time. The dew point was very high causing the rocks to sweat and become wet and slippery. Top of balsam was nice. The climb to Friday was awful, but the little view point helped. Way finding was a little difficult at time but the herd path was fairly well defined in most places.

I will say. Its still a joy to find that orange cannister in the middle of nowhere.
