Rusk Mountain

Trail notes recorded post hike, added here in their fairly raw state.

Beauty of a day for my last Catskill mountain. Just the winter four left. Shame there wasn’t much a view point for a day like today. My legs were definitely tired after halcott yesterday. It was quite a bit warmer than I thought it would be. The traverse between east rusk and rusk was very nice, easy to follow.

Glad I didn’t go straight up rusk, the decent was steep and very slippery with the leaves and rocks.

Parking lot was full, but no one was out at Rusk, no one for that day in the canister either, guess everyone was heading up West Kill or Hunter.

I also realized Hunter was where I discovered/decided to do the 3500. Great little full circle moment.
